Job Description

As an Asset Manager, you will become an integral part of the Acquisition & Disposition Group within PNC Realty Services. Your primary responsibility will be focused on evaluating, scheduling and oversight of property preservation & management services relating to commercial bank-owned property. The position also requires working with the disposition officer to assist in the evaluation, pricing & execution of the strategic disposition plan for commercial bank-owned property sales (OREO) in order to obtain the maximum price for these assets. Other required experience for the position includes leasing, budgeting/accounting and marketing functions which you will use to develop the asset management and/or preservation plan.

In a typical day, you will work on an assigned portfolio and will interface with various Realty Services and outside real estate personnel including 3rd party management companies, contractors, brokers, leasing agents, legal counsel, prospective purchasers, property managers, appraisers, engineers and other consultants. As Asset Manager, you will be directly responsible for soliciting bids & negotiating business terms of contracts and leases, hiring 3rd party managers where applicable, creating or approving operating and capital budgets on an asset by asset basis, reconciling and reviewing monthly financial statements and working closely with the disposition officer to coordinate strategies to maximize return while complying with existing policies, procedures and reporting requirements. Frequent activities would also include updating the OREO tracking database with key data.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years work experience in property management and/or sales.
  • Demonstrated negotiation ability required.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess proficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Well developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Enjoy working within a challenging and high paced environment.
  • Lotus Notes & Excel competency.
