AUDIT FUNCTION MANAGER - CAPITAL MARKETS

As a Audit Function Manager you will be a part of Capital Markets Audit Group and will be located in Pittsburgh, PA. Effective execution of your roles includes the following requirements and associated skills:

Utilize your strong organizational skills as you assist in managing the planning and execution process of internal audits;

Determining the focus and objectives of the audits by analyzing and assessing the risks assumed by the business;

Incorporate the ability to identify key operational, credit and market risks within a variety of trading transactions. This would include an extensive understanding of how taxable fixed income, tax exempt fixed income, mortgage servicing rights, foreign exchange, foreign exchange derivatives, over the counter and exchange traded interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, etc. are traded and hedged;

Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address the above risks;

Provide practical, innovative, and value added solutions to issues identified;

Articulate an independent and balanced opinion in both written and oral form, identifying real issues and providing compelling solutions in a succinct manner;

Evaluating client remediation proposals and monitoring the subsequent process relating to implementation of these plans;

Developing and maintaining an effective network of relationships within the Bank;

Exhibit a highly motivated approach with a mature personality and sound judgment;

Willingness to assist colleagues in achieving deadlines and goals; and,

Assist in the development and training of junior staff.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of auditing or Capital Markets experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance. Advanced degree or professional designation desirable. Experience in one or more of the following areas: Capital Markets, Risk Management, Mortgaging Service Rights, Portfolio Management, Risk Rating, Basel, Trading, Financial Modeling, Back Office Operations, Capital Management, Liquidity Management, Stress Testing, Model Validation. Candidate must have strong leadership abilities.
