Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities for assigned product areas through research, strategic planning and implementation. Responsible for achievement of various business objectives to include strategic, tactical projects and financial metrics.

Job Function - General:

  • Oversee the product management of B. Braun Hospital Care product line sold and distributed in the United States and Canada.
  • Responsible for the development of marketing strategy, implementation and control of marketing programs to maintain and increase market share and profits for assigned product groups.
  • Manage, build, mentor colleagues, responsible for strategic brand planning, tactical execution, insight generation, and collaboration with business partners.
  • Ensure the attainment of organization goals of market share, profit, price and revenue.
  • Development and implementation of overall business and marketing plans that create alignment and a clear vision that drives successful achievement of business objectives for a product group or category.
  • Perform product lifecycle responsibilities for existing and new products.
  • Prepare pre/post product launch activities.
  • Create measurement plan to ensure organization is successfully meeting targets and objectives for your assigned product category.
  • Develop and implement tactical plan with the appropriate agency or cross-functional partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration in all business areas.
  • Lead trade show activities to manage booth activities in coordination with the trade show and conventions team.
  • Manage all operational aspects of product line, including forecasting, inventory, backorders, and quality issues.
  • Develop product line pricing strategy.
  • Evaluate product improvements and line extensions while maintaining existing product base.
  • Identifies and write requirements for new product development and acts as integral part of development team.
  • Manage and develop Product Managers, Associate product managers under supervision.
  • Manage all promotional activities related to product group.
  • Monitor product group incident reports and helps direct corrective actions if needed.
  • Coordinate and assist with in-house sales training programs related to product group.
  • Actively participates in Global Network Team (GNT) to represent BBMUS market requirements.
  • Maintain product group operating budget.
  • Maintain an active field travel schedule to regularly meeting with customers, sales, personnel, inventors, and consultants.

It is an essential function of this position for an employee to be present and in-person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers. Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including, but not limited to, hospitals, clinics, and other health care clinics (hereinafter, "Healthcare Customers"). Many of our Healthcare Customers require outside vendors like us to present proof that they have certain requisite vaccinations and immunizations, including, but not limited to, vaccinations against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, before being granted entry into the Healthcare Customers' clinical settings. To gain access to our Healthcare Customers clinical settings, field sales, field service, and other customer facing professionals are required to register with the vendor credentialing organization associated with the Healthcare Customers, complete the Healthcare Customers' required process, and undergo a series of clearances. Vendor credentialing clearances include, but are not limited to, a national criminal background check, drug screening, and immunizations as determined by the vendors, which may include, but are not limited to, Influenza, Hepatitis B Virus, and COVID-19. You must fully comply with the requirements of the Healthcare Customers in your region, including any necessary proof of any vaccination. As such, all individuals in this position assigned to a Healthcare Customer with a COVID-19, Influenza, Hepatitis B Virus, or other vaccination requirement must be fully vaccinated and/or immunized in accordance with the Healthcare Customers' requirements. Education and Professional Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
  • 08-10 years related experience required.
