The Repair Services Technician's primary role is to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate video-endoscopes at the Skaneateles location.

As Repair Services Technician you will play a key role in our daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on our repair services line. You will get hands-on experience of testing and repairing cutting-edge products for the energy industry. You will be part of a team that ensures the highest quality of our customer builds.
As a Repair Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing the various products manufactured, sold or distributed
* Working to meet customer commitment dates and keep In-House Service Leader informed of progress status throughout the service cycle
* Providing technical and troubleshooting assistance for WT products via telephone with
technical personnel at customer and/or global repair centers
* Providing product failure and repair information to customer and failure analysis database
* Maintaining accurate records to determine charges for service calls as applicable
* Staying current with WT product technical changes and advancements.
* Being aware of problems and techniques used in other repair locations for knowledge-sharing purposes
* Maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Have a High School / GED diploma w/ 3 years of technical work experience OR Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electrical Technology from an accredited college
Desired Characteristics
* Have a Minimum 1-year experience in electrical / mechanical equipment repair as a technician.
* Have Experience with electro / mechanical and video products
* Have Working knowledge of basic test instrumentation (oscilloscope, VOM, torque gauges, etc.)
* Have Direct Visual (RVI) product troubleshooting experience
* Have Experience using hand tools, soldering equipment and electromechanical test equipment.

*The hourly pay scale for this position is $ 20.79 - $29.33 USD if employed in New York
