We are seeking a talented engineer leader for our New York Electrical Department who will also collaborate enterprise wide.

Primary responsibilities will include:

* Serve as an engineering leader and technical expert with the ability to answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering staff.

* Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for electrical engineering staff to use and abide by.

* Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects.

* Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.

* Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors.

* Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally

* Perform department management activities including recruitment, hiring, coaching, and leadership

Requirements for this position include:

* 10 plus years' experience in electrical/fire alarm design

* Team supervisory experience

* New York PE license

* Bachelor's degree electrical engineering required

* Strong technical writing & software skills including Revit

* Sound knowledge of building codes

* Great interpersonal & communication skills

* Knowledge of Sustainable certification programs
