Description

STV is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Security Systems Designer to join our dynamic Systems/Security team in The Centers of Excellence, located in Douglassville, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced electronic security systems to protect our clients' facilities and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic security, hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. System Design:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand security requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive security system designs, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other relevant technologies.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

2. Technology Integration:

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in electronic security systems.

  • Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge solutions for system integration.

  • Integrate various security components into cohesive and effective systems.

3. Project Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from conception to implementation and post-installation support.

  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Conduct site surveys and assess existing systems for upgrades or enhancements.

4. Quality Assurance:

  • Perform thorough testing and quality assurance on security systems to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on system operation.

5. Documentation:

  • Create detailed technical documentation for security system designs and configurations.

  • Maintain accurate records of project specifications, changes, and approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing electronic security systems.

  • Proficiency in industry-leading security technologies and platforms.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are a plus.

Compensation Range:

$64,044.00 - $85,392.00
