Position Summary

This position will be the finance business partner to the SVP - Field Operations and the VP - Service Operations Strategy. This role will own all core financial aspects of service operations, including, but not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and driving various forms of labor productivity across the Company's 900+ locations and field support. While the stores technically reflect a "Service Business," each location has aspects of a manufacturing shop floor:

  • Ensure Direct and indirect materials on hand;
  • Utilize Materials to assemble/consolidate into product;
  • Perform the service or installation; and
  • Quality test, deliver vehicle to customer, invoice.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and accompanying analysis for Operations.
  • In-depth analysis of Labor and Overhead to drive cost and cycle productivity across all stores.
  • Lead segmentation of poor performing stores, actions plans and best practices tracking and adoption.
  • Development and support of most critical financial and operational KPIs.
  • Co-lead simplification of store pay plans, targeting more direct line of sight on pay for performance (productivity).
  • Co-lead, with Human Resources, minimum wage/rate increases, especially state mandated.
  • Co-lead, with Operations leader, proper field structure and critical KPIs to contribute to store performance.
  • Lead store overhead initiative toward lower, more variable model.
  • Lead frequent presentations with senior executives and Board of Directors.
  • Jointly responsible, with SVP - Field Operations, for achieving core financial metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, operations management or equivalent training required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing finance roles, or finance roles with multi-site, similar focus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Strong people leader - ability to lead cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing independently.
  • Strong ability to drive change in a status quo environment.
  • Customer service oriented, recognizing the importance of high-quality customer service.
  • Exercises excellent professional judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage large, complex projects in parallel.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
