As part of the technical support team you will be an essential point of contact for BioLegend's customers, advising on the use of our products and services, and helping answering questions and customer concerns.

Essential Functions

  • Strong experience with flow cytometry (multiparameter flow cytometry design and analysis) as well as immunoassays such as ELISA and bead array assays (E.g. LEGENDplex) is required to assist researchers using our reagents.
  • Experience with RNA-seq, particularly 10x Genomics applications, is a plus.
  • Prioritizing customer requests to provide technical information and troubleshooting help via telephone and emails and customer follow up.
  • Utilizing scientific skills to provide product related education to the customers, and help to identify potentially non-conforming products based on available data.
  • Contribute to updating scientific content on the company website in terms of product data sheets and web tools.
  • Careful and diligent documentation of all technical issues according to our ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management system requirements.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Must have a minimum degree of a B.S in Immunology, Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics, or related field.
  • Three (3) plus years of hands on experience in multicolor flow cytometry and immunoassays.
  • Experience with bioassays, western blot and RNA-seq, particularly 10x Genomics applications, is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • PhD in related field. Experience will be considered in substitution of PhD education.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in genomics/transcriptomics strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,00-$100,000/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
