Purolite, an Ecolab Company is seeking a First Chemical Operator-Regen who coordinates activities in the regeneration area relating to operations which include Regeneration, Microlite, Waste Tanks, Polishers, Grinding, TOC Systems and Processes including Screening and Drying.

Position Details:
Philadelphia Plant location:3620 G Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
Work week and shift: Rotating twelve-hour shifts days, nights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:
Effectively operates polishers.
Maintains effective operation of the Low TOC area.
Operates three units (LC, M-Regen and CY-4) in series and separately, as well as the extraction unit and scavenger.
Operates the Separator, Separation of Mixbed Resins.
Performs small unit (Cation and Anion) and V-Mixer operations.
Charges all units.
Neutralizes waste tanks in Regen.
Performs effective operation of Grinder, Microlite tanks and centrifuge.
Instructs Second Equipment Operator of his duties and ensures they are completed.
Writes paperwork as necessary and ensures the accuracy of paperwork before submission to supervisor.
Operates a sewing machine and heat sealer.
Operates the ferrix system, keks and drying.
Reports unusual occurrences relating to processes and equipment to Regen supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous mechanical skills are required.
Ability to communicate with visitors, professional and plant personnel.
Computer knowledge with basic mathematic and writing skills.
A licensed forklift operatoris preferred.
