Citibank Commercial Cards offers card-based payment solutions to large corporations and federal and state governments for the procurement of goods and services as well as travel, entertainment, and fleet related expenses. Commercial Cards' strategic objective is to compete and differentiate on the basis of global capability and customized solutions for high-value customers.
Role Description:
We are seeking for Commercial Card's mobile development team. The successful candidate demonstrates her/his understanding of Mobile application development lifecycle and interact with multiple development, testing, production support teams, Operations and product contacts as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as the System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS platforms.

He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The candidate will be a rigorous technical lead with a strong understanding of how to build scalable, enterprise level global applications

The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.

Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 6-10 years of experience working on complex projects.
    • Experience in leading globally distributed teams successfully
    • Project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to minute details.
    • Hands on Engineering Manager with experience delivering multi-channel / multi-platform Mobile and Tablet applications either Native or Hybrid mobile platforms such as React Native, Flutter etc.

Technical / Functional Proficiency:

    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Responsible for providing technical leadership of multiple large scale/complex global software solutions
    • Strong understanding of object oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming
    • Has an eye for perfection and detail on Apple and Google User Interface Guidelines
    • Scope for influencing design and architecture.
    • Managing application vulnerabilities and tracking them to closure
    • Keeping application software up to date.
    • Experience with Hybrid & Native mobile application development
    • Strong Object-Oriented design and development experience with JavaScript (ES5 & ES6), Swift / Objective-C
    • Strong design and development experience in building Restful endpoints (.Net /Java or NodeJS)
    • Strong experience with Phonegap/React Native and writing new plugins for the same.
    • In-Depth understanding of Android and iOS operating systems.
    • Strong understanding Continuous integration using Teamcity / Jenkins etc
    • Experience with computer Cryptography/security; e.g. SSH, SSL and Certificate management
    • Agile Scrum Practitioner with exposure to SAFe
    • Strong performance tuning skills both on UI and Backend

Leadership Skills:

    • Experience of developing teams of permanent employees and vendors from 5 - 20 developers in size
    • A good understanding of the credit card industry and functions of HSM and different types of keys.
    • Requires Strong Stakeholder Management experience to drive discussions between Business, Solutions, Operations and Application Teams.
    • Ability to build a comprehensive understanding of project stakeholders, subject matter, and priorities
    • Leadership and strong communication skills
    • Flexible to work across different Time zones supporting stakeholders across LATAM, EMEA and ASPAC regions.
    • Strong customer service focuses with the ability to communicate with highly technical management teams.
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and functional.
    • Demonstrate excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills.
    • Managing time and changing priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Ability to provide quick turnaround to software issues and management requests
    • Ability to assimilate key issues and concepts and come up to speed quickly
